Lebanon Death Toll From Israeli Aggression Climbs Beyond 3,000 Mark

According to official data released by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the cumulative death toll from ongoing Israeli military operations in Lebanon has risen to 3,073. Despite existing truce frameworks, continued air and artillery strikes have additionally pushed the total number of injuries past 9,300, compounding the severe humanitarian crisis across the region.

Expert warns modern stress, poor dietary choices, and environmental hazards are driving the average menopause age down to the critical 40-45 bracket.

Declining female fertility rates and a shifting menopausal age toward much younger years are deeply concerning trends, according to Gynecology Specialist Prof. Dr. Evrim Bostanci Ergen. She emphasized that this alarming situation is triggered by genetic codes, high stress, improper nutrition, and environmental factors, stating, ‘Menopause, historically observed around ages 47-48, now frequently occurs within the 40-45 age bracket due to anxiety, lifestyle habits, and environmental impacts.’

Drawing critical attention to the falling age of menopause, Prof. Dr. Ergen from Medipol Acibadem Regional Hospital provided essential guidance regarding reproductive wellness and proactive fertility management.

MENOPAUSE AGE DROPPING RAPIDLY

Prof. Dr. Ergen reiterated that modern women enter menopause significantly earlier than in previous generations, noting, ‘The traditional phase seen at ages 47-48 has moved to the 40-45 range, heavily influenced by high stress, lifestyle choices, and genetics.’

Touching upon the common AMH test for evaluating reproductive capacity, Prof. Dr. Ergen explained, ‘While AMH offers initial insight, it is insufficient alone. The most precise evaluation requires a detailed egg count by an experienced gynecologist,’ urging women not to neglect regular clinical check-ups.

Thanks to modern medical technology, female fertility is now fully manageable, Prof. Dr. Ergen noted, adding, ‘Women delaying childbearing can safeguard their fertility using advanced egg freezing, which significantly enhances their probability of achieving successful motherhood at older ages.’

Stressing that specific age ranges remain critical for fertility, Prof. Dr. Ergen concluded, ‘Ages 37, 40, and 42 serve as vital milestones. Consequently, tracking ovarian reserves through regular annual check-ups is extremely crucial.’
