China has officially announced the successful deployment of a new satellite group into space from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center located in the northern province of Shanxi.

China successfully launched a new group of satellites from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the country’s northern Shanxi province. The satellite cluster, which was carried by a “Long March-6” launch vehicle, lifted off at 19:59 Beijing time yesterday and reportedly reached its predetermined orbital path without incident. According to official statements, these satellites are intended to serve as a critical component of the “Spacesail Constellation,” which is China’s large-scale commercial low Earth orbit satellite network.

MILESTONE REACHED FOR LONG MARCH ROCKET SERIES

The Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center confirmed that this specific operation represents the 642nd flight mission for the “Long March” carrier rocket series. This latest launch underscores China’s accelerating efforts to establish a robust presence in the commercial space sector through the rapid deployment of satellite constellations. The mission was completed successfully, with all technical parameters meeting the mission requirements for the ongoing development of the nation’s orbital infrastructure.
