Early Menopause Risks Rise Due to Modern Stress

During the ongoing trial regarding the death of Argentinian football legend Diego Armando Maradona, two doctors testified that the star had discontinued his high blood pressure medication shortly before passing away.

In a hearing held at the San Isidro Criminal Court in Buenos Aires, Argentina, two doctors who treated Maradona at a private clinic provided insights into the footballer’s final health status. The physicians claimed that Maradona had stopped taking his essential hypertension medications shortly before his death. They argued that for the former footballer, who suffered from serious pre-existing heart conditions, the cessation of this treatment likely caused his health to deteriorate even more rapidly.

The prosecution, however, maintained a different stance, emphasizing that Maradona suffered from long-standing heart ailments and various complex pathologies. They argued that despite these known risks, the medical personnel currently standing trial as defendants failed to take these conditions into sufficient account. The prosecution contends that the lack of adequate supervision and professional care by the assigned medical team was a decisive factor in the legendary athlete’s untimely demise.
