In a statement posted on social media, Katz said the operation was carried out under instructions from both himself and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
HEZBOLLAH COMMANDER REPORTEDLY TARGETED
Katz claimed that the strike targeted a commander from Hezbollah’s Radwan Force. He stated that this was the first Israeli strike on Beirut since the ceasefire was established.
Israeli authorities did not immediately release additional information regarding casualties or damage caused by the attack.
