VakıfBank Wins Seventh European Title in Final

Turkish side defeats Eczacıbaşı Dynavit 3-1 in Istanbul, completing a historic season with three major trophies.

VakıfBank defeated Eczacıbaşı Dynavit 3-1 in the CEV Champions League Final Four in Istanbul, securing their seventh European title after previous triumphs in 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2022, and 2023.

VakıfBank delivered a strong opening set, combining efficient offense with solid defense, including four blocks, and took the set 25-20 in 23 minutes. In the second set, led by Tijana Bosković’s scoring, the team maintained defensive intensity to win 25-21 and build a 2-0 lead. Eczacıbaşı responded by taking the third set 25-21, but VakıfBank closed the match with a 25-18 victory in the fourth set to seal the championship.

THREE TROPHIES IN A SINGLE SEASON

Having already secured both the Kupa Voley and the Sultanlar League titles, VakıfBank completed the season with three trophies, marking a dominant campaign at both domestic and European levels.

MINISTER CONGRATULATES CHAMPIONS

Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak congratulated the team in a statement, highlighting Türkiye’s growing prominence in women’s volleyball. He praised both finalists for their performance and noted that the victory marked the country’s 27th international club-level title in women’s volleyball. Bak also expressed appreciation for the excitement generated by the final and extended his best wishes for continued success to both clubs.
