GERMANY BACKS NEGOTIATED SOLUTION
In a separate statement shared on social media, Wadephul emphasized Germany’s support for a negotiated resolution. He noted that Berlin shares common objectives with its ally, the United States, particularly regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
Wadephul stated that Iran should fully abandon nuclear weapons and called for the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, aligning with demands previously voiced by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
